Creative Economy Week has ended
Welcome to Creative Economy Week in Eau Claire!

During Creative Economy Week we’ll shine a spotlight on the strong and growing arts and culture economy in Eau Claire and the Chippewa Valley. We want to recognize the efforts and importance of the creative class workers that add to the quality of life we enjoy in Eau Claire.

The creative economy is a powerful engine of growth and community vitality. Together, artists, cultural nonprofits, and creative businesses produce and distribute cultural goods and services that generate jobs, revenue, and quality of life. A thriving cultural sector leads to thriving communities. The arts and culture sector in the U.S. is a $699 billion industry, providing 4.3 percent of the nation’s GDP. This impact drives economic development on the national, state, regional, and local level.

Party Time & New World Order

It's the end of the world and as we know it. And I feel fine. There are soldiers in the streets and barracades up in the neighborhoods, but don't worry wealthy people...everything is fine. We've got this. Just. Act. Normal.
